Dimensions: 24 in x 36 in

Materials Used: Handwoven wool; undyed natural gray wool base; organic dyes from marigold (yellow), cochineal (red), indigo (blue), and zapote/pomegranate (green and brown tones).

Description:

Campo de Visiones (Field of Visions) is a vibrant yet grounding textile that honors clarity, protection, and the sacred presence of ancestral energy.

Handwoven on a traditional treadle loom, this 24" x 36" piece features a soft, undyed gray wool background accented with radiant Ojo de Dios motifs- each representing a guardian of spiritual vision.

The repeated eyes appear as symbols scattered across a calm landscape, each carrying its own burst of life through hues of cochineal red, marigold yellow, deep indigo, and earthy greens.

These organic colors are extracted from native plants and insects, continuing a centuries-old

Zapotec dyeing tradition.

Perfect for smaller spaces, this piece can be used as a floor accent or hung as wall art to bring warmth, color, and intention to any room.
